Authenticating into an Endpoint
Once you’ve been assigned a credential by an admin, you’ll be able to log in to the assigned endpoint without typing in the password using the wallet application installed into your device
Passwordless Authentication that is 1FA
Whenever you try to login to the endpoint with the credentials shared to you by the platform administrator you’ll receive a Request for authenticating the user in the endpoint. Follow
Simply accept the “Share credential” request to authenticate or Decline to reject.
Passwordless Authentication that is 2FA with Password or SSH Keys as the other factor
Sometimes authentication factors are configured with passwordless credentials as 2nd Factor with SSH Keys or Passwords as a first factor. If the servers are configured to accept 2FA with passwordless credentials then use passwords or SSH Keys as you usually do, and then you will see the additional ping on your wallet to share the credential.
Simply accept the “Share credential” request to authenticate or Decline to reject.
