Connecting through a jump server

Can I connect to a Windows endpoint through a jump server?

Not from the current console. Earlier versions of AuthNull let you install a Guacamole-based jump server with Add Jump Server, then open RDP sessions to Windows endpoints from a Connections screen, choosing a Wallet User to receive the credentials. That flow has been retired:

  • The Connections screen has been removed from the console.
  • AuthNull no longer delivers credentials to a wallet, so there is no Wallet User to choose.
  • Jump servers are now called Gateways. A gateway is AuthNull's SSH jump server, and it reaches Linux endpoints over SSH. See Gateways (jump servers).

How to reach a Windows endpoint today

Users sign in to the Windows endpoint directly, at the logon screen or with their RDP client, and approve an MFA push on their phone. See Authenticating to Windows endpoints.

Session recordings

Recorded sessions are listed on the Session Recordings page. Open it from the Recordings column on Targets → Endpoints, from a gateway's sessions, or with View Session Recordings in a row's ⋯ menu on Targets → Endpoint Users.
